I know few law students who spend fewer than 20 hours per week reading, briefing, and consulting casebooks during class. Those 20 hours, multiplied by three years of law school, turn into more than 1500 hours of bent-neck reading. That’s equivalent to two months of 24-7 reading. No wonder that students who read while sitting with poor posture often end up seeking medical attention for eyestrain.
